This will be the second crop planted in this field. Last spring Abigail planted potatoes and we grew a rye-vetch cover crop over the winter. Now its time for the cucurbits.
Tilled 3 times, fertilized with seed bone and blood meal, and limed. We set up the irrigation lines, and rolled out last year's cucurbit plastic, complete with last year's holes.
